Kaleb"s Baseball Game

Tuesday, Kaleb had a baseball game.
A little pre-baseball football!!

Right in the gut!!

Some warm up!

Stretches.

Kaleb leading off first.

Here he is safe at 3rd.

And scoring a run!!!

Quite the power hitter!

Playing 1st base.

Yo, T, What's up?

Trevor's autographed shirt from the last day of school.

He earned a medal for playing his trumpet.

Kaleb's so good he even has time to flash me some cheese from 3rd base!

He's got it!
We had a great time hanging out with Trevor & Kaleb
and watching Kaleb play some baseball!

Silver Falls State Park

Monday & Tuesday we went down to see Trevor & Kaleb. We got to pick them up from school, see some trumpet playing, some baseball practice.
Tuesday, being the last day of school, they had early release. So we decided to check out Silver Falls State Park. Here is a picture of the guys at a view point on the way up to North Falls.

Here is just a picture of the falls.

Getting closer!!

You can (well you have to get to the other side) back behind the water. Very impressive, this huge rock shelf above and VERY loud!!

Here are the guys on the trail.

We saw some wild animals!!

Did some exploring.

Very beautiful and peaceful.

Our side of the state isn't this green!!

There is a salamander in the leaves.

Here is another one of the water falls.

Looks much bigger when you put people in front of it!!

June 1st Calvin and the whole 5th grade went away to outdoor school for 3 days.
We sent him with a disposable camera. Here are a few of the images he captured.
Every morning they had a flag raising ceremony.

Here is the stream nearby.

And a picture of the hills.

And here is Calvin wading in the stream.
He came back dirty & tired, but had a great time!!

Memorial Day Weekend!!

Luke received a rocket from Ryndi & Ryan for his birthday this year. We have been waiting
for a non windy beautiful day to launch it.
Sunday was that day!!
Here are the guys getting it set up.

If all else fails......read the directions!

It's gonna blow! Run for it!

Then we called in the expert.

Lots of "dad" power.
I think he said 135 pumps till it was in the "green" zone.

Up....up....and away!!

Very impressive!

Another launching.

And some tickle time!

We kept launching, till WE ran out of steam.

Then we had some hot dogs & smores.
Yummy!!

Luke, Calvin, Kaleb & Trevor by the fire.

My honey, checking the blackness of his marshmallows.

So fast, all you see is a blur, then you hear it go in the pocket!! haha

Uncle Jason & Luke.

It's a picture of the 2 of us at the beach,
he's laughing because there wasn't a picture of the two of
